For the past year, I have had the privilege of being the official photographer for Laughlin AFB graduation dinners.  As both a veteran and wife of an Instructor Pilot, it gives me such pride to be able to share in the celebration with these graduates.

This family is always so fun to work with!  The sky over Laughlin AFB was just a dream, the morning was perfect and it was a great day to be a photographer.  

We had this grand plan of taking photos of Emery with her pup...you know, she would sit in the grass, cuddle with her furry friend those melt-your-heart kinda photos.  Well right after I shot the family image, our grand plan went into the water behind them.  Yup, we got one family photo and that's all the dog would participate in. :)

A perk of booking your session with Scrappy Doodles is that you have access to my very robust prop closet, featuring so many boutique brand dresses for little girls, like the dress Emery chose to wear in this session.  

Her momma is incredibly talented as well.  She has an embroidery shop called Jiggity Jig Designs and she is also a Rodan & Fields consultant.  

I'll miss this wonderful family and am glad to have been their photographer during their time at Laughlin AFB.
